Administrative Assistant
Position: Administrative Assistant – Full Time
Department: Homer Tree Care, Inc.
Job Summary: The Administrative Assistant is responsible for performing a variety of office and clerical duties to ensure the office runs efficiently. This includes but is not limited to; greeting visitors and answering phone calls, scheduling tree care work for tree crews, and performing various administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the front office.
Duties amp; Responsibilities:
  • Provide excellent customer service for customers by greeting visitors and answering phone calls and emails
  • Schedule, organize, and maintain appointments and jobs for tree crews and arborists
  • Maintain constant communication with clients to ensure client satisfaction throughout the job process
  • Input data entry; prepare letters and other documents using work processing and spreadsheets; create, maintain, and enter information into databases
  • Create invoices, process payments, and track client files and accounts
  • Perform other general office tasks such as managing the front desk, filing paperwork, ordering supplies
  • Directly reports to the office manager and performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • Highschool degree or equivalent
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Effective level of oral and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft programs including Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Ability to learn new programs quickly and multitask in a fast-paced team-oriented environment.
  • Attention to detail
  • Require every other Saturday availability for the full season

  • Pay is determined by experience, skill, education, and other factors
