Licensed Therapist, Seattle, WA


Samaritan Center of Puget Sound is a counseling group providing statewide mental health services. Our clinical staff includes marriage and family therapists, mental health counselors, social workers, pastoral counselors, and psychologists, all of them licensed by the State of Washington. We offer individual, couple, family, and group therapy to people of all ages, with a focus on spiritually-integrative, relational psychotherapy.

We provide quality care for people of all backgrounds, faiths, and lifestyles. We value diversity.


Pay and Benefits:


Therapists are commission-based with an assured base rate.

Medical, dental, and long-term disability benefits are available for those who work a minimum of 30 hours a week.


Psychotherapist General Responsibilities: 


  • Support and encourage the mission, vision, values and strategic priorities of the Samaritan Center with your attitude, behaviors and ethical conduct.
  • Maintain in a professional manner a clinical case with a minimum of 20 counseling hours per week.
  •  Participate in development of the Samaritan Community by regularly attending staff meetings, peer group and other agency consultations, staff retreats, and trainings. Contribute to the ongoing organizational and administrative needs of Samaritan, such as serving on ad hoc task forces and planning committees.
  • Function in accordance with the policies and practices of Samaritan as a professional therapist, such as maintaining case records and necessary statistical information, setting fees in accordance with Samaritanโ€™s currently active fee schedule, and abiding by all personnel policies.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and maintain licensure and certification with Washington State (i.e. LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, Licensed Psychologist), adhering to ethical standards of credentialing body (ie. AAMFT, ACA, NASW, APA). 
  • Engage in PR or client-generating activity for Samaritan, such as networking and referral source follow-up. 
  • Concur with the Mission Statement of Samaritan Center of Puget Sound: โ€œAs an expression of Godโ€™s love and compassion, we seek to restore hope, reconcile relationships and participate in the transformation of lives. We provide counseling, education, consultation, mediation and other services for individuals, families, congregations and organizations.โ€
