Job description

The opportunity

This is a paid, 3-month internship position based in our New York City office (hybrid schedule). The program is open to both current university students and recent graduates pursuing or having completed a degree in Public Relations, Marketing, and/or Communications.

Move with Purpose: 

  • Provide support to all team members across every core PR program including earned media, content, speaking and awards, and more
  • Build media databases by researching media and influencers
  • Develop proficiency in the media landscape on all accounts through research and proactive outreach 
  • Provide support for metrics reporting 
  • Manage industry and competitive news monitoring program
  • Assist in the development of proactive editorial pitches and other written communications

Go Deeper: 

  • 0-1 year of PR internship experience 
  • Degree in Public Relations, Marketing and/or Communications 
  • Ability to set priorities and deliver results using excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proactive thinking
  • Deadline-oriented
  • Experience with media and reporting databases like Cision or MuckRack
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Passionate about the B2B technology industry
  • Experience working in a team environment 
  • Experience working with clients (prior agency experience is a plus, but not required)

Compensation

Actual compensation within the pay range will be decided based on factors including, but not limited to, skills and prior relevant experience.
