Job description

**This position is located in Norfolk, Nebraska. Relocation or commute is required.**

Northeast Nebraska Economic Development District (NENEDD) is a quasi-government organization with a dedicated staff of professionals working together to assist communities and individuals with economic development, housing and business loan opportunities.

We offer a competitive starting salary (commensurate on experience and education) and an excellent benefits package.

Benefits include employer provided health insurance (medical, dental and vision), life insurance, employer matched retirement plan, 15 paid holidays per year, paid sick time, PTO, employer paid professional development and optional flex schedule workdays.

Our office is open Monday through Friday with a 36-hour workweek.

This position involves assisting local governments in a 16-county region with strategic planning, grant writing and administration, technical assistance and other community and economic development activities. Some travel, evening meetings and a valid driver's license are required. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required. Computer knowledge, including Microsoft programs, is a necessity.
