Clinical and Community Outreach Volunteer

Social Recovery Center / Social Clubhouse are seeking community volunteers to support outreach efforts and help connect local providers, organizations, schools, and community members with mental health and substance use resources.

This volunteer opportunity may be a good fit for students seeking volunteer hours, individuals interested in behavioral health, or community members who want to get involved and support access to care.

Volunteer responsibilities may include some or all of the following, depending on comfort level, interests, and availability:

  • Preparing and organizing outreach materials, including brochures, info cards, provider bags, giveaway items, and event supplies

  • Assisting with tabling events at colleges, schools, health fairs, street fairs, and community events

  • Supporting community engagement by speaking with attendees and sharing program information

  • Calling or stopping into therapy offices, medical offices, psychiatry groups, hospitals, and community organizations to provide information about our services

  • Gathering basic feedback from providers or community partners about local needs, resource gaps, and referral barriers

Ideal volunteers are outgoing, organized, reliable, and comfortable speaking with community members or provider offices in a respectful and professional way about mental health and substance use resources.

Flexible hours are available based on event needs, outreach projects, and volunteer availability. This is an unpaid volunteer opportunity.


Social Recovery Center provides clinical mental health and substance use Intensive Outpatient (IOP) and Outpatient (OP) services, including evaluations, therapy, and structured treatment. Social Clubhouse is an Adult Partial Care program offering a supportive community space focused on peer connection, skill-building, and ongoing wellness.
