CIC is looking for a full-time, early career Coordinator to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone with at least one year of professional work experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
YOUR DAY-TO-DAY WORK
You will join a Community Operations Team to satisfy the day-to-day needs of our members. Some work will be independent while at other times it will require collaboration with other CIC staff members.
Potential responsibilities will include:
• Building and keeping good relationships with CIC members, making sure they're happy by quickly and specifically responding to their questions and needs.

• Stocking and maintaining supplies in kitchens and conference rooms, while also ensuring the upkeep of regular systems like print stations and conference room setups, offering assistance as needed.

• Supporting CIC Cambridge's front desk operations for ~15% of your time with a focus on excellent service. This includes required staffing CIC One Broadway's front desk during Venture Café on Thursdays 4PM - 6:30PM approximately every 3 weeks.
• Assisting other teams with special projects as needed.
• Helping cover other operations teams as needed
• Organizing community events to encourage networking among members.
ABOUT YOU
We value service-minded, reliable, and independent thinkers who may not know everything on day one but are bright, curious, and eager to learn. As our ideal candidate, you should confidently take ownership of tasks, be personable and enjoy helping others, and possess a self-motivated attitude towards learning our business in-depth. Your approach should be detail-oriented and organized, with strong time management skills. You're expected to be a team player who can maintain positive relationships and communicate professionally, treating everyone equally and contributing fresh ideas.
YOU HAVE
• A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• At least one year of professional experience.
• A natural interest for helping/supporting others.
• An interest in a long-term role. We are a growing company, and we like to hire people who can grow with us over the years.
OUR OFFER
• Starting compensation is $53,000 per year.
• 100% company-paid premium healthcare and dental benefits.
• 100% company-paid long and short-term disability, and life insurance.
• 401k (must be 21+).
• 18 days of PTO accrued annually (more with seniority), plus thirteen paid holidays from the start.
ATTRACTIONS OF THE JOB
In addition to helping our members achieve great things, we work to ensure that our employees are healthy and supported.
Some of the benefits of being here include:
• Fun people in a dynamic space. We pride ourselves on finding driven and bright collaborators who are eager to lend their own unique skills to the team, as well as to our inspiring members. The number one reason CICers say they like working here is because of their colleagues!
• Personal growth. This is a great opportunity to learn and develop skills within the epicenter of the innovation community at a growing company.
• Access to a nursing room, secure bicycle parking, a maker space, a gym, shower rooms with towels, and discounted services and memberships on resources to make your life happier/healthier such as gym memberships, tech and design support, hotel stays, and other fantastic options.
• Central location. CIC Cambridge is a stone's throw from the Kendall Square MBTA Red Line stop.
