You will grow our client base across Western Canada while making sure the workers we place are matched to the right roles and set up to succeed.
This is a broad role for someone who can both sell and deliver. What You'll Do
  • Drive new business development across Calgary and the surrounding region, identifying and winning clients in oil and gas, mining, construction, and turnaround and shutdown sectors.
  • Own the full sales cycle, from prospecting and lead generation through to negotiation and signed agreements.
  • Build and maintain long-term client relationships, positioning GrizzlyTrek as a trusted technical workforce partner.
  • Recruit, screen, and place qualified trades and technical workers into client positions, managing the placement process from intake through deployment.
  • Coordinate scheduling, dispatch, and mobilization of workers, managing timelines to keep projects fully crewed and on track.
  • Oversee day-to-day regional operations, ensuring quality, client satisfaction, and smooth execution of placements and projects.
  • Manage competing priorities across sales, recruitment, and operations, balancing multiple clients and deadlines.

  • Maintain accurate pipeline, placement, and activity records in the CRM.
  • Represent GrizzlyTrek at industry events, trade shows, and community engagements.
What You Bring

  • Experience in recruitment, placement, or workforce coordination, or the ability to learn it quickly.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to juggle sales, recruitment, and operations at once.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
  • Self-motivated and results-driven, comfortable working in a commission-based role.
  • Ability to work independently and manage your own territory, pipeline, and workload.
  • Familiarity with and respect for Indigenous cultures and communities.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the region.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience in trades or industrial recruiting, dispatch, or operations.
  • Existing network of client contacts in Western Canada's oil and gas, mining, or construction sectors.
  • Knowledge of oil and gas shutdown and turnaround cycles.
  • Proficiency with CRM and applicant tracking software.
Work Environment
  • Calgary based, with regular travel to client sites and project locations across the region.
  • A blend of field sales, in-person client meetings, and office-based recruitment and coordination.
  • A fast-paced environment that balances sales targets with hands-on operational delivery.
What We Offer
  • Commission-based compensation that rewards your performance and results.
  • Life insurance: $100,000 employee / $10,000 spouse / $5,000 per child.
  • AD&D insurance with critical illness and cancer coverage.
  • Extended health care: drugs, hospital, hearing, orthotics, nursing.
