The Greater Manchester Region has approximately 2,500 employees. The Greater Manchester Region serves a region of 300,000 people in 19 towns.
Job Summary:
Under general direction of the Regional Director of Community Health coordinates all Community Benefit reporting throughout the Greater Manchester Region. This position provides administrative support to the Community Involvement Department. Works as a Community Health Worker. Partners with the Community Health Department to plan, develop and administer outreach programs to improve the wellbeing of the community including health and social programs as well as other activities.

Education
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience
  • Previous experience in the human services field
Licensure, Certification, Registration
  • CHW certification required within 1 year of hire
Knowledge, Skills and Ability Requirements
  • Project/program coordination and implementation.
  • Effective customer service
  • Collaborative problem solving
  • Specialized software applications and hardware as required
  • Resolving problems involving several complex variables in non-standardized situations
  • Plan and coordinate meetings and events
  • Build partnerships with groups and agencies
  • Respond to public and internal inquiries regarding events, services and other information as necessary.
  • Effective written and verbal communications.
  • Competent in Excel; Word: Outlook; PowerPoint and Management of databases used for success
