Program Manager

Location: Wichita, KA


In the role of Program Management focal, your responsibilities includes

  • Strong Computer skills/ proficiency required with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Individual project management and tracking as part of a larger portfolio
  • Schedule development by project appropriate to project scope (Microsoft Project experience preferred)
  • Functional coordination (Define through Supply Base through Assembly implementation) to track project from contracting through execution
  • Communication with Suppliers to discuss on ECDs, issues etc.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Cross-functional coordination and leadership to achieve project goals
  • Reporting the findings and engineering data from the engineering study.
  • Building visual reports to help the management understand the issues, project status on weekly basis.
  • Study all the inhouse & supplier build parts.
  • Create Tornado charts, Triage list, timeline of various stages and their status in co-ordination with cross functional teamsOrganizing and leading the IPT; establishing, executing, and maintaining IPT planning (including integration with the overall program execution plan)
  • Ensure timely & compliant Earned Value Management (EVM) reporting
  • Run a variety of weekly / monthly reports and internal audit activities to ensure accurate cost collection and dissemination
  • Compile data from multiple teams / areas and develop reports for internal and external reporting requirements
  • Ability to decompose, analyze actual and performance data to develop accurate and timely forecasts
  • Track program milestones
  • Create Metrics and build charts for leadership review
  • Utilizing engineering 2D and 3D models with the help of tools like CATIA V5, SAP, 3D EXPERIENCE(GPLM) for study related to should Costing, details to SCM team, understanding the geometry of part, criticality etc.


Qualifications Basic:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace or Manufacturing or Industrial or Production/Mechanical engineering
  • 6 to 9 years' related work experience

Preferred

  • Knowledge of Aerospace industry and standards
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong computer skills and ability to quickly decompose and analyze data required
