The Residential Market Development Executive is designed to build scalable residential replacement business through both sales execution and community presence. This is an individual contributor role with meaningful opportunity for advancement.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement growth strategies aligned with company objectives
  • Identify new market segments and expansion opportunities
  • Drive customer acquisition and retention
  • Identify and test new revenue channels
  • Pursue marketing efforts that create consistent lead flow
  • Perform consistent follow-up on both sold and unsold estimates to maximize customer satisfaction and close opportunities
  • Actively engage in ongoing training, including in-house sessions, field training, and manufacturer-led programs
  • Generate residential HVAC opportunities through relationships and outreach
  • Meet one on one with homeowners to discuss comfort and high energy efficiency solutions
  • Strengthen the presence of the business across the community
  • Maintain compliance with all safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards

Qualifications

  • Proven and consistent success in a sales-driven role
  • Ability to independently generate new business by developing leads through proactive outreach and relationship-building
  • Familiar with social media and local visibility strategies
  • Relationship-oriented and community-focused within Ann Arbor, MI
  • Servant-Hearted and focused on helping others
  • Possess a Hunter Mentality and comfortable seeking leads from scratch
  • Ability to learn permitting, pricing, scheduling, and HVAC equipment
  • Basic computer proficiency, Word, Outlook, Excel, and ability to manage CRM
  • Possess a valid driver’s license and an acceptable motor vehicle record
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
  • Ability to travel to and around the greater Detroit Metro area
