About the Role

The Project Architect will lead technical design execution and implementation for Senior Living projects while partnering closely with project managers, consultants, and clients. This Architect will oversee project coordination, QA/QC processes, technical documentation, and team collaboration to ensure high-quality project delivery.


This position is ideal for an Architect with strong technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and experience managing architectural documentation and consultant coordination on complex projects in Dallas and beyond.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead architectural project execution from design development through construction administration
  • Coordinate consultants, engineers, contractors, and internal project teams
  • Prepare and review construction documents and technical drawings
  • Ensure compliance with building codes, accessibility standards, and QA/QC procedures
  • Support project schedules, deliverables, and documentation milestones
  • Guide technical problem-solving and project coordination efforts
  • Participate in client presentations, meetings, and project discussions
  • Mentor junior architecture staff and support professional development
  • Conduct site visits, field reviews, and consultant coordination meetings
  • Collaborate with design leadership to maintain project vision and technical excellence
  • Research materials, systems, and architectural products for project application


Qualifications

  • Accredited degree in Architecture required
  • Licensed Architect required
  • 8+ years of professional architectural experience preferred
  • Proven experience leading complex architectural projects
  • Senior Living project experience strongly preferred
  • Advanced proficiency in Revit, Bluebeam, and Navisworks
  • Experience with visualization tools such as Rhino, Grasshopper, Enscape, or Twinmotion preferred
  • Strong understanding of building systems, construction detailing, and code compliance
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to manage multiple architectural projects simultaneously
  • Strong organizational and client relationship management abilities
