A financial services organization is seeking a Technical Program Manager in Vienna, VA to lead complex enterprise programs and strategic technology initiatives. This hybrid role partners with executive leadership, business stakeholders, and technology teams to drive execution, manage risks, and deliver measurable outcomes.


About the Opportunity:




  • Schedule: Monday to Friday




  • Hours: Standard business




  • Setting: Hybrid (3 days onsite)



Responsibilities:




  • Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of complex cross-functional programs and enterprise initiatives.




  • Translate strategic objectives into actionable roadmaps, timelines, milestones, and deliverables.




  • Partner with executive leaders, business stakeholders, and technology teams to ensure alignment and successful delivery.




  • Oversee program performance, reporting, risk management, dependency tracking, and issue resolution.




  • Establish and maintain governance standards, delivery frameworks, and best practices while supporting continuous improvement.




Qualifications:




  • 7+ years of progressive program or project management experience leading complex, cross-functional, or enterprise initiatives




  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Program Management, Project Management, Organizational Development, or a related field




  • 3+ years of experience managing project or program teams




  • Strong knowledge of enterprise program and project management methodologies, including Agile, SAFe, Waterfall, and hybrid frameworks




  • Experience leading strategic initiatives and translating business objectives into execution plans




  • Experience managing governance processes, performance metrics, reporting standards, risk mitigation, and vendor relationships




  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior leadership

  • Experience with organizational change management, process improvement, and adoption strategies




  • Advanced proficiency with analytics and visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Smartsheet, or MS Project
