Position Description:
The Program Manager develops and delivers study abroad programming and resources oriented around the priorities of academic colleges and students' academic experiences. As a primary liaison between Education Abroad and designated academic departments, the Program Manager supports strategies to expand access to global learning opportunities for students within those colleges.
The Program Manager works collaboratively with key stakeholders in the designated units, including faculty and academic leadership to curate a portfolio of study abroad opportunities aligned with students' academic needs and program learning outcomes. Program Managers will help build a study abroad culture within their assigned colleges/schools and they will partner with directors of undergraduate/graduate studies to realize study abroad as a means of reimagining learning within their discipline and contributing to their curricular outcomes. The Program Manager works directly with faculty and staff to design and deliver study abroad programs and will guide the efforts of Education Abroad Advisors to support the successful outreach and advising of students within those units.
The Program Manager is responsible for the oversight and management of a designated portfolio of study abroad programs, including new program development, relationship management and overseeing processes and procedures for advising, recruitment, admissions and pre-departure support.

Knowledge of business acumen to understand key business drivers, organizational communications, and data.
Skill in oral and written communication.
Skill in the use of Microsoft Office products.
Ability to exercise independent judgment and discretion.

Ability to interpret and apply policies, procedures, regulations, and laws.
