Job description

Position Summary: The Marketing and Communications Specialist develops marketing communications plans and strategies that align with the business objectives of the organization and its service lines and programs. Works collaboratively with executive, clinical and department leadership to develop and implement successful and cost-effective traditional and digital marketing strategies and tactics. Maintains excellent collaborative relationships with physician leaders and service lines;demonstrates a high level of leadership, reliability, integrity and professionalism, and takes the initiative to learn and understand all aspects of their business as appropriate. Coordinates with Marketing & Public Relations Department, consultants and agencies to determine best practices for all marketing and communications efforts. Participates in the department team meetings and contributes to department-wide decisions and implementation strategies. Viewed as an expert on all marketing and communication strategies within healthcare. Embraces the Hospital’s mission, vision, values. May perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree, preferably in marketing or communications. Minimum of three years' marketing or communications experience. High degree of responsibility and accountability with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Presentation, report and proposal skills required. Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and graphic design software, such as Adobe Creative Cloud or Canva.


Preferred Qualifications : Bilingual in Spanish
 

Salary range: $79,200 to $87,300 annually. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
