Description
The WIC Nutrition Health Educator for the WIC Program is a professional who supports the mission, goals and objectives of the North Country Family Health Center, Inc. by improving nutritional services in the WIC Program. This staff will follow standards for the assessment process used to determine WIC eligibility and personalize nutrition education, referrals, and food package tailoring.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in an appropriate health-related field from an accredited college or university with at least 6 credit hours in nutrition, or
  • Nutrition and Dietetic Technician, Registered (DTR/NDTR), or
  • Registered Nurse (RN) with a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university,
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to travel among Jefferson and Lewis Counties, and for trainings
  • Flexibility in work hours which includes working evenings and Saturdays

Salary Description
