Position Summary:
  • As a WIC Coordinator (Grade:107) in the licensing department the individual will be responsible for performing a wide-range of licensing functions, including but not limited to: renewals, document management, and project support.
  • Licensure categories will include Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC).
  • This role will be required to ensure that they meet regulatory deadlines and project due dates.
  • The individual will need to work closely with category teams and store operations to ensure accuracy and that licensing deadlines are met.

  • Responsible for series of license renewals and ongoing regulatory notifications to ensure compliance with internal and external requirements 50%
  • Oversight of WIC license renewals and ongoing regulatory notifications to ensure compliance with internal and external requirements 20%
  • Database maintenance of current license fees, renewal dates, and vendor information 5%
  • Work with business operations and category teams on expansion of licensed locations 10%
  • Maintain electronic license files and supply copies upon request 2%
  • Correspond with federal, state, and local agencies regarding license renewals 5%
  • Review and respond to licensing related correspondence 5%
  • Perform other management or related duties as requested by licensing team management 3%

Experience Required:
  • Required - 3 to 5 years.
  • Preferred - 5 to 8 years.
  • Experience working with government agencies (federal, state, or local)
