Is 5% a good commission rate?

For a Commission Verizon Wireless Call Center role, a 5% commission rate can be considered average or slightly below average depending on sales targets and product margins. Commission rates in sales roles typically range from 5% to 20%, with higher rates often linked to higher-value products or performance-based incentives. Why is Verizon laying off $15,000?

The mention of Verizon laying off $15,000 appears to be a misunderstanding or misstatement, as layoffs are typically measured in number of employees rather than dollar amounts.
