Overview

The Operations Manager is a key member of the Branch leadership team, partnering closely with the Operations Director to drive operational excellence, efficiency, and business performance. This role collaborates with Producers, Client Service teams, and other stakeholders to execute strategic initiatives, lead process improvement efforts, and ensure operational consistency across multiple branch locations.

The Operations Manager is responsible for managing operational projects, optimizing business processes, and supporting initiatives that enhance productivity, client value, and overall branch performance. As a trusted operational partner, this individual plays a critical role in advancing organizational goals, fostering collaboration, and delivering sustainable business results.


How you'll make an impact

Operations & Administration

  • Coordinate branch meetings, events, conferences, and internal communications.
  • Manage onboarding and offboarding processes, including workspace, equipment, and access coordination.
  • Support licensing, carrier appointments, and operational compliance activities.

Financial & Business Operations

  • Partner with Finance on expense management, client billing, receivables, commission tracking, and forecasting.
  • Monitor operational performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, profitability, and service delivery.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of financial and operational documentation.

Facilities & Technology

  • Oversee office facilities, vendor relationships, maintenance needs, and lease-related coordination.
  • Act as the primary liaison between the branch and IT teams to support technology requests and issue resolution.
  • Manage office equipment and technology asset inventory.

Operational Excellence

  • Lead process improvement initiatives that enhance productivity, operational effectiveness, and the client experience.
  • Drive the adoption of corporate tools, best practices, and standardized operating procedures.
  • Track operational performance metrics and provide recommendations to support branch goals.

Strategic Initiatives

  • Partner with Branch and Operations leadership to execute strategic priorities and business initiatives.
  • Support organizational change efforts, including technology implementations, acquisitions, and process transformations.
  • Assist with business continuity planning and merger integration activities.

People & Stakeholder Support

  • Collaborate with leadership and HR on employee lifecycle processes and branch programs.
  • Support client, prospect, and employee events as needed.
  • Build strong relationships across the organization to foster collaboration and operational success.

About You

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and 3 years ofrelevant experience.
  • Experience in operations management, business operations, project management, or a related field.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and lead cross-functional initiatives.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated success driving process improvements and operational efficiencies.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; experience with Microsoft Copilot and other AI-enabled productivity tools is preferred.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills.
