Job description

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate Thread Roll and Fillet Roll equipment to produce precision components from MP35N, MP159, and other highstrength alloys.
  • Perform and validate setups, troubleshoot equipment issues, and ensure optimal machine performance.
  • Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accurate part production.
  • Conduct firstpiece inspections, inprocess audits, and SPC monitoring to maintain quality standards.
  • Submit Stop/Call/Wait cards for recurring issues and support rootcause and correctiveaction activities.
  • Lead daily communication with supervisors and peers, including production planning and shiftchange updates.
  • Train, mentor, and motivate operators to improve performance, quality, and materialhandling skills.
  • Ensure tooling, fixtures, gages, and programs are available and ready for production.
  • Support 6S initiatives and verify completion of tasks before shift transitions.
  • Monitor equipment condition, perform preventive maintenance tasks, and submit maintenance requests.
  • Communicate material shortages, workflow deviations, and production concerns across shifts.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Essential Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 3–5 years of machining or metalforming experience, including work with MP35N, MP159, or similar highstrength alloys.
  • Strong knowledge of tooling, setups, and machining parameters for difficulttomachine materials.
  • Proficiency with precision measuring instruments and inspection techniques.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Experience implementing qualitycontrol and qualityassurance methods.
  • Ability to inspect parts to tight tolerances using micrometers, calipers, and other gages.
  • Strong teamwork skills and the ability to work independently when needed.

Desired Qualifications

  • Aerospace manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Experience in AS9100 / ISO9001 environments.

ITAR Requirement

This position requires that the employee be a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident) or a Foreign Person for whom a license is obtained.

Quality Requirement

Employees must understand, implement, and maintain the Company Quality Policy in accordance with AS9100C and/or ISO9001:2008.

Physical Requirements / Working Conditions

  • Standing for up to 8 hours while operating equipment.
  • Lifting up to 40 lbs. unassisted.
  • Frequent bending, reaching, and material handling.
  • Movement throughout the facility to collect and deliver production parts.
