Job description

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Thread Roll Operator to manufacture precision threaded components for aerospace and industrial applications. This position will set up and operate thread rolling equipment while ensuring finished parts meet blueprint, dimensional, thread, and quality requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate thread rolling machines and related equipment.
  • Install and adjust thread rolling dies and tooling based on job specifications.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, manufacturing instructions, and specifications.
  • Monitor thread form, pitch, diameter, finish, and overall part quality.
  • Inspect finished components using micrometers, gauges, comparators, thread gauges, and other measuring equipment.
  • Make machine and tooling adjustments to maintain required tolerances.
  • Identify worn or damaged tooling and communicate replacement or rework requirements.
  • Troubleshoot basic machine, tooling, and production issues.
  • Perform first-piece and in-process inspections as required.
  • Complete production, inspection, and traceability documentation.
  • Follow all established quality and safety procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Qualifications
  • Previous thread rolling experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience producing fasteners, bolts, screws, or other precision threaded components strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of flat-die and/or cylindrical thread rolling processes is a plus.
  • Ability to read blueprints and understand thread specifications and tolerances.
  • Experience using micrometers, calipers, thread gauges, and other precision measuring tools.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Aerospace or high precision manufacturing experience preferred.
