Job description

At JPMorganChase, the work you do moves markets. As a Vice President on the Americas Equities Prime Single Stock (SS) Swaps Trading Desk, you will take ownership of pricing, execution, and risk management across vanilla delta one derivatives - including Total Return and Price Return Swaps - for Institutional, Sovereign, and Hedge Fund clients globally. You will serve as a senior voice on the desk, driving strategic initiatives, mentoring junior team members, and partnering with global teams to deliver best-in-class client outcomes.

Job responsibilities

  • Own delta hedging strategy and lead the analysis of borrow risk arising from client activity and rate movements
  • Oversee and execute order flow in full accordance with swaps governance policies and controls
  • Lead pre- and post-trade analytics for our institutional client base, delivering actionable insights to senior stakeholders
  • Drive coordination with trading teams in EMEA and APAC, serving as a key point of contact for global alignment
  • Spearhead the development of tools and workflows that improve desk efficiency, automation, and scalability
  • Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Extensive experience in delta one products, single stock swaps, or equity derivatives trading
  • Deep understanding of vanilla derivative pricing, risk management, and hedging strategies
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel/VBA and Python, with a track record of building desk tools or automation
  • Proven ability to lead and influence across cross-functional and global teams
  • Exceptional communication skills with experience presenting to senior stakeholders and clients
  • Fluency in English

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Prior experience managing or mentoring junior traders or analysts
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic initiatives within a trading environment
