Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Full Stack Developer IV in Orlando, FL.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design, develop, and maintain modern web applications using React
* Ensure the web and desktop applications meet user needs and are scalable
* Build and maintain cross-platform applications using Electron
* Develop scalable backend services and REST APIs using Node.js
* Participate in architecture decisions, code reviews, testing, and deployment
* Work with designers, developers, and product managers to deliver high-quality software and to translate design concepts into functional interfaces
* Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and provide technical expertise in the planning and execution of web and mobile development projects
* Follow industry best practices and standards, ensuring code is efficient and maintainable
* Participate in code reviews, identify and fix bugs and contribute to the continuous improvement of development practices and processes
REQUIREMENTS:
* 5-8+ years of professional experience as a Full Stack JavaScript Developer
* Strong experience building applications with React
* Strong Node.js backend development experience
* Experience developing and shipping desktop applications using Electron
* Experience designing RESTful APIs
* Experience with SQL databases (PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MySQL, etc.)
* Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, Playwright, Cypress, etc.)
* Expert knowledge of modern JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript
* Familiarity with Git and modern CI/CD workflows
* Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills
* Ability to own projects from concept through deployment
Nice to Have:
* Experience with Vue.js.
* Experience with XR/3D technologies (Unity, Three.js, WebXR)
* Experience with IPC communication in Electron
* Experience with desktop application packaging and auto-updates
* Docker and containerization experience
* Azure or AWS deployment experience
* Experience with secure application development and authentication (OAuth, JWT, SSO)
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
