Job description

These positions will help transform the platform into a one-stop-shop for post-event analysis and predictive simulations. Core enhancements include interactive mapping, new visualization layers (e.g., renewable integration, heating data), and simulation tools for planning seasonal or peak load scenarios.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain MERN stack applications
Implement interactive map layers.
Build new Node.js APIs from scratch and integrate with MongoDB back end.
Participate in Agile ceremonies; collaborate closely with Product Owner, BA, tester, and other developers.
Support application deployment in OpenShift/Kubernetes environment.
Troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and contribute to outage simulation enhancements.
Provide demos during quarterly/monthly showcases in Fort Worth.
Collaborate with team (8โ€“10 members) in an Agile environment using Jira/Confluence.
Must Haves:
3โ€“7 years of full stack development (React + Node.js + MongoDB).
Strong React with experience building interactive maps (Google Maps, Mapbox).
Hands-on Node.js development, including building REST APIs.
Strong MongoDB expertise and basic Oracle SQL skills.
Experience with Docker, Git/Bitbucket.
Prior exposure to OpenShift or Kubernetes deployments.
Agile/SCRUM team experience.
Strong communication skills โ€“ confident, proactive, able to provide technical input
