Technical lead
Location: Pasadena, CA/San Ramon, CA - 3 Days WFO - Hybrid - Only Locals
Job Type: Contract:
Key Requirements:
  1. Experience
    • 12+ years of experience in software delivery, including full-stack development with Python and React.
    • Strong exposure to Fabric, Helm, and related cloud-native technologies.
  2. Technical Leadership
    • Proven experience leading end-to-end delivery of seasonal migrations to the Fabric platform.
    • Ability to own and drive application migration initiatives from planning through execution.
  3. Migration Expertise
    • Hands-on experience with CS-to-Fabric migration projects.
    • Strong understanding of migrating legacy applications to the Fabric platform, including:
      • CI/CD implementation (Bamboo CI/CD preferred)
      • Kubernetes
      • PostgreSQL migration strategies
      • Data reconciliation and validation
      • Deployment and release management
  4. Full-Stack Development
    • Solid full-stack technical background with the ability to contribute hands-on when required.
    • Capable of reviewing, troubleshooting, and developing code as needed to support delivery objectives.
  5. Stakeholder Management
    • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
    • Ability to engage with client stakeholders, align them on solution approaches, migration plans, timelines, and key deliverables.
  6. Project & Delivery Ownership
    • Responsible for managing client expectations and ensuring successful execution of migration programs.
    • Strong ownership mindset with accountability for delivery outcomes.

Ideal Candidate Profile
We are looking for a Technical Lead with Project Management capabilities-someone who can effectively balance hands-on technical leadership with stakeholder engagement, delivery governance, and end-to-end program ownership.
ROLE OVERVIEW A hands-on technical lead who owns end-to-end delivery of the CSoI migration to Fabric. Acts as the bridge between WAM business stakeholders and the offshore engineering pod - translating regulatory-capital requirements into a clear technical plan, tracking execution in JIRA, and keeping the Mosaiq platform team and WAM aligned on scope, risk and timeline while providing day-to-day technical direction. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR 12+ years in software delivery, including cloud / Kubernetes migrations Strong requirement analysis & stakeholder communication skills Proficient with JIRA / Confluence and Agile (Scrum/Kanban) delivery Technical depth in application architecture, data migration & CI/CD Able to lead and review the work of an offshore developer team RESPONSIBILITIES Own delivery plan, scope & milestones; track execution in JIRA (boards, sprints, burndown) Translate WAM requirements into technical work items & acceptance criteria Primary liaison to Mosaiq platform team & WAM stakeholders; report status, risks & dependencies Provide technical direction on Mosaiq K8s/Helm deployment, OKTA auth & Bamboo CI/CD Steer Oracle → PostgreSQL migration approach, data reconciliation & parity testing Govern offshore delivery: code reviews, quality gates & cutover readiness KEY SKILLS Agile / Scrum delivery | JIRA / Confluence | Requirement analysis & backlog management | Stakeholder management & communication | Risk & dependency management | Solution & data architecture | Kubernetes | Helm | Bamboo CI/CD (technical oversight) | OKTA / OAuth2 understanding | Oracle → PostgreSQL migration & reconciliation oversight | Full-stack technical background
