Qualifications

  • Valid licensure as an Speech-Language Pathologist with experience in school settings preferred.
  • TSSLD for Speech Therapists
  • Familiarity with the unique needs of students requiring speech therapy within a school environment. Join our team to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children by providing expert SLP services that foster growth, communication, and independence!

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement tailored SLP plans that promote communication skills, motor development, and overall functional independence.
  • Provide direct speech therapy services to students with a variety of developmental delays and disabilities.
  • Monitor student progress regularly, adjusting intervention strategies to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of treatment plans, progress notes, and compliance with educational and healthcare regulations.
  • Stay current with advancements in pediatrics, physiology knowledge, anatomy understanding, and medical terminology relevant to patient care within an educational context.

License/Certification:

  • NYS SLP License (Required)
