About the Opportunity

We are seeking an exceptional Sales Engineer to join our world-class manufacturing organization. This is a unique opportunity for a technically proficient professional who combines deep engineering knowledge with outstanding sales acumen. As a Sales Engineer, you will serve as the critical bridge between our cutting-edge manufacturing capabilities and our diverse client base in the chemical processing, plating, and electronics industries.

This role demands a rare combination of technical expertise in chemical engineering, surface finishing technologies, and electronics manufacturing, coupled with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into compelling business solutions. You will be working with Fortune 500 companies, innovative startups, and everything in between, helping them solve their most challenging manufacturing problems.

Primary Role & ResponsibilitiesTechnical Sales & Business Development
  • Drive Revenue Growth: Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities within the chemical engineering, plating, and electronics sectors. Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.
  • Technical Consultation: Serve as the primary technical advisor to clients, conducting in-depth needs assessments and recommending optimal solutions from our comprehensive product portfolio. Provide expert guidance on chemical processes, plating techniques, and electronic manufacturing applications.
  • Solution Design: Collaborate with clients to design customized manufacturing solutions that address their specific technical requirements, production constraints, and quality standards. Prepare detailed technical proposals, specifications, and cost analyses.
  • Product Demonstrations: Conduct on-site and virtual product demonstrations, showcasing the capabilities and advantages of our manufacturing equipment and processes. Perform technical presentations to engineering teams, procurement departments, and executive leadership.

Education & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related technical field required.
  • Proficiency with standard business software and collaboration tools, including Microsoft Office, video conferencing platforms, professional networking applications, and company intranet systems, required.
  • Strong understanding of electronic manufacturing processes preferred.
  • Formal training in product management, sales, or territory management highly preferred.
  • Training in quality management systems and Six Sigma methodologies preferred.
  • NASF Certified Electroplater/Finisher (CEF) certification or a comparable electronics manufacturing certification is considered a significant advantage.
