Job description

We are looking to add an experienced Kitchen & Bath Designer to our team. Chas. G. Burch Supply Co. is a family-owned business that is over 135 years old! Burch Supply Co., we want to make our clients' dream home a reality!
Kitchen & Bath Designer Responsibilities Include:

  • Build relationships with Contractor & Builder customers
  • Provide excellent customer service skills
  • Work closely with other team members
  • Maintain store and counter appearance while also monitoring showroom inventory
  • Assist with paperwork
  • Create and foster new relationships with contractors, builders, and customers
  • Stay knowledgeable on products and options in this ever-changing field
  • Be able to design a project from start to finish ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Maintain a positive rapport with past clients and help past with any warranty issues
  • Showroom and In-Home appointments
  • Measure the design space
  • Design plan layout and product selection
  • Generate preliminary computer designs
  • Order product and schedule deliveries to satisfy customer needs and to maintain the profitability of the sale
  • Promptly respond to customers and contractors
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in customer service
  • Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Experience with 2020 Design a plus
  • Basic Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Outlook
  • Trustworthy and friendly personality eager for additional responsibilities
  • Problem-solving skills

Experience:

  • Design/Sales Experience: 3+ years 
  • Merchandising: 1+ year (Preferred)
  • Experience with 20/20 and Spruce (Preferred)
Education:

  • High school or equivalent
  • Degree in design preferred, but not required
