We are seeking the right person for an excellent multi-tasker position with good organizational skills and outstanding customer service who is eager for an opportunity to be part of a dynamic team. The Group Air Travel Planner is responsible for working directly with our Manager of Air Planning, Account Executives and Program Managers. This is a skilled specialist position with a team of highly experienced incentive travel planners.

Job Description:

Department: Travel Department

Reports To: Air Travel Manager

Responsibilities Include:

  • Full responsibility for program air travel including securing all group ai booking with all details from proposal to program completion.
  • Smart ability to research and negotiation with airlines utilizing Sabre GDS system.
  • Issuance of tickets according to deadlines required and clear tracking of all financials and charges.
  • Complete flight monitoring and intelligent resolution of all flight problems as they may occur.
  • Attend regular meetings, management report and general reports with all pertinent air information.

Job Skills Required:

  • Strong SABRE GDS experience on flights world-wide, ticketing and comprehensive knowledge of different types of airline contracts and fares.
  • Professional detail-oriented with excellent verbal, written, and organizational skills with utmost participant/client communication ability.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Access, Outlook and Excel.
