About Our Role:?

The Regional Account Manager for Houston will report directly to the National Sales Manager. This role is full-time and on-site in our Houston, TX office. Our business is growing, and we’re bringing on someone to serve as the on-the-ground sales and support for the Houston area.

What You Will Do:?

  • Manage client relationships, respond to order requests, prepare quotes, and coordinating delivery logistics via phone, email, and in person
  • Develop a deep understanding of A-Rent’s rental fleet, customer base, and key industry applications
  • Train at our Houston and Chicago locations to fully understand A-Rent’s processes, before taking ownership of the Gulf Coast territory
  • Collaborate with our marketing and customer service teams to identify and convert new business opportunities
  • Travel regionally as needed to support key accounts and build strong customer partnerships
  • Represent A-Rent’s rental and calibration services with professionalism, urgency, and technical know-how
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in technical sales, account management, or a customer-facing role within the electrical, utility, or industrial sectors
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent professional experience
  • Ability to sell strategically and communicate technical concepts with confidence
  • Familiarity with test equipment manufacturers such as Fluke, Megger, FLIR, or similar
  • Knowledge of grid substations, MV switchgear, utility-scale solar, or data centers is a strong plus
  • Excellent written, verbal, and problem-solving skills
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

License/Certification:

  • Driver's License (Required)
