JOB DESCRIPTION
Fox is looking for a Coordinator, Broadcast Partnerships & Marketing to join their team in Los Angeles, CA. The Coordinator supports the Broadcast Partnerships & Marketing team in executing programming and distribution initiatives across 209 FOX affiliate TV stations. The Coordinator will provide administrative support for 70+ local broadcast television stations as well as a multitude of services to the department including interacting with program directors and creative services directors at FOX Affiliate Stations, assisting with department programming announcements and programming calendars, operational liaison work reviewing station program schedules and ensuring accuracy, gathering clearance reports, Affiliate Portal updates, and global communication to our affiliates (FACS EAlerts). The Coordinator will provide promo guidance and marketing support.
This is a detailed and meticulous job that will require strong time management and a sense of urgency in a fast-paced day-to-day environment. A candidate looking to gain vast experience in business administration in the entertainment industry with a positive approach to problem-solving and achieving goals daily.
A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Act as a liaison between the FOX Network and 70+ Broadcast Affiliates in coordination with station reps
  • Serve as a point of contact for local Program Directors and Creative Services Directors, responding to inquiries and providing necessary information/assets, and maintaining regular contact via phone and email
  • Monitor and verify station program schedules to ensure FOX programming airs as planned, as well as collect and track station clearance forms
  • Maintain personnel contact lists for supervisors' affiliate market lists along with ensuring market information and ownership data is current and accurate across all internal documents
  • Work in conjunction with Programming liaisons for Entertainment and Fox News Edge to:
    • Create programming announcements
    • Update internal and external programming calendars
    • Distribute information to broadcast affiliate clients and internal stakeholders
  • Support station Creative Services Directors by providing promo guidance, distributing promotional materials, and helping track marketing efforts
  • Build compelling sales decks; strong visual storytelling and a sharp eye for layout and branding a plus
  • Support day-to-day operations for the Affiliate Co-Op Media program, including drafting communications and coordinating asset requests and delivery in support of station media buys
  • Additional support for the Broadcast Distribution & Marketing department, as it relates to answering phones, assisting with calendars, projects, and other initiatives as they arise, will be required

WHAT YOU WILL NEED
  • 1+ years of job experience in media or related field, or entry-level business experience, preferably in media or network television
  • Exceptional knowledge of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
  • Excellent written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic math skills
  • Superior skills in grammar, editing, and proofreading
  • Ability to respectfully interface with executives from various departments and divisions
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a challenging environment with multiple deadlines
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and excellent follow-through skills
  • Self-starter with a positive attitude, able to take initiative and work independently
  • Available for overtime as needed
