Job description

Flight Registered Nurse (RN)

Vighter is recruiting Flight Registered Nurses (RN) at the hub in Opa Locka, FL. Flight Nurses conduct basic screening assessments and provide healthcare services to individuals detained by Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the Immigration & Customs Enforcement (ICE) teams during deportation flights from Opa Locka, FL. Registered Nurses (RN) provide in-flight nursing services to DHS/ICE detainees being repatriated to their countries of origin. The RN reviews medical records to determine if detainees are capable of flying and will provide nursing services during the flight.

Vighter's Flight nurses work alongside uniformed DHS and ICE at numerous locations in Texas, Arizona, Florida, Ohio, Wisconsin and Louisiana. Candidates must be comfortable working in detention and flight settings. Services may be provided in a field setting with minimal facilities, a soft-sided (tent-type) facility, or a secure detention facility, such as a DHS/ICE Station or outpost collocated with international airports in sector, and in flight between the United States and various other countries.
