Job description

What you will do:

 

The Floorplan Account Representative possesses a combination of skills that relate to the internal operations of ACV Auctions in handling all financial transactions and tracking of Inventory. This role becomes proficient in operating the Dealer Management System, (DMS) such as DataScan, which will be utilized in managing dealers. The Floorplan Account Representative also ensures the security and compliance to all Federal and State legal requirements, as well as retention periods associated with Dealers Applications, Contracts, UCC filing and all confidential information.

  • Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
  • Manage the timely processing of floorplan payments
  • Process and implement ACH payments
  • Problem-solving and contributing to new process method development.
  • Manage multiple priorities within tight timeframes while maintaining ongoing attention to detail.
  • Answer and triage phone calls and requests in a professional manner
  • Ensure emails and faxes received in individual inbox or departmental inbox are reviewed and processed in a timely fashion
  • Ensure prompt follow-up is maintained in payment processing within the portfolio and completed in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Interface directly with Dealership Management to resolve payment and credit line issues as well as handle all questions or concerns that may arise.
  • Ensure compliance in the completion of all assigned transactions, accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Review legal documentation to ensure transactions are properly secured and comply with all State and Federal Laws.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

What you will need:

  • High School or GED - required
  • 4 Year / Bachelors Degree - preferred
  • AR/AP, office, clerical, or automotive auction experience
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
  • Interest in finance, accounting or operations a plus.
  • Thorough, thoughtful and well organized.
  • Team player, willing to learn multiple jobs.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite (excel, word).
  • Detail-oriented, while maintaining the ability to prioritize and facilitate multiple projects.
  • Eagerness to tackle complex challenges, and humbleness when it comes to fulfilling some of the simpler tasks that keep our office running day-to-day.
  • A knack for solving problems creatively and resourcefully.
  • Fondness for collaboration and working in a team, yet able to stay motivated while working independently.
  • Ability to learn and become proficient in a Dealer Management System such as DataScan
