What is commercial real estate?

Commercial real estate (CRE) refers to properties that are used exclusively for business purposes, such as office buildings, retail centers, warehouses, and industrial spaces. Unlike residential real estate, which is intended for living, commercial properties are leased or sold to businesses to generate income. CRE can be a lucrative investment option, but it often involves more complex transactions, higher upfront costs, and different market dynamics compared to residential real estate.
