A prominent, mid-sized North Carolina business defense law firm is seeking a skilled Transportation Litigation Legal Assistant for its regional civil defense practice. Key Responsibilities

  • Advanced Court E-Filing: Format, proofread, and electronically file pleadings, motions, subpoenas, and discovery documents via NC eCourts (Odyssey) and federal CM/ECF systems.
  • Docketing & Calendaring: Manage complex attorney calendars, tracking statutory deadlines, court appearances, depositions, and mediations to ensure strict compliance with civil procedure.
  • Trial & Discovery Support: Draft legal correspondence, compile deposition binders, coordinate with expert witnesses, and organize medical records or accident scene data.
