Job Summary:
Western Alliance Bank is a wholly owned subsidiary of Western Alliance Bancorporation, and they are seeking a Senior Product Specialist to support the Product Management Team in creating commercial card products. The role involves collaborating with various teams to enhance the commercial card product offering and drive revenue growth.
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Product Analysts, Sales, IT, Risk, Legal, and Executive Team to deliver materials in support of various commercial card solutions
• Provide training, pricing, and product benefits to internal partners in support of rollout of new and enhanced commercial card products
• Create and manage card product process flows
• Develop and maintain detailed technical product knowledge to support internal partner needs and the product enhancement roadmap
• Research market opportunities for new product enhancements
• Evaluate new potential vendor solutions in support of revenue and profitability growth
• Identify process improvements and automation opportunities for the commercial card product offering.
• Partner closely with multiple third-party vendors
Qualifications:
Required:
• 5 or more years of commercial card product related experience within a financial institution required.
• Proven experience in improving the quality of the client experience for commercial cards and related products.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented, with ability to influence, collaborate, and communicate across all levels and lines of business, internal resources, and vendors.
• Strong analytical and technical skills and ability to handle ambiguous and complex situations.
Preferred:
• Bachelor’s degree in related business field (Finance, Economics, Sales/Marketing) preferred.
• Experience with commercial card product technology, processing platforms, and/or file delivery solutions strongly preferred.
• Treasury Management, and/or Product Management/Development background strongly preferred, with the ability to concurrently manage, prioritize, and execute against multiple priorities.
