Responsibilities
  • The LNG Commercial Analyst supports revenue growth and customer satisfaction. This role provides analytical, operational, and coordination support across key commercial activities, including sales and contracting performance and management reporting, regulatory compliance, marketing coordination, and financial verification.
  • Supports the commercial team with sales, contracting, and administration activities which include entering sales deals into the energy trading system, maintaining deal records and templates, assists with preparation of sales presentations, and managing stakeholder non-disclosure agreements.
  • Collaborates with commercial leadership and cross-functional partners to gain broad exposure to the LNG commercial lifecycle and directly contributes to execution and outcomes.
  • Responsible for assisting with thorough analysis of contract details, product, term, and pricing to ensure that all regulatory and customer requirements are met. Coordinates with legal, risk, finance and other departments as needed on contract-related documents and execution support.
  • Prepares and maintains reports for permits, regulatory and compliance. Compiles end-of-month LNG delivery, trucking, and volume reports, supports Department of Energy export authorization filings.
  • Develop custom reports upon request.
  • Develop and maintain complex spreadsheet models, databases and processes for use to validate system output, invoice validation, and tailored reporting.
  • Coordinates marketing and communications activities for conference participation, advertising, and promotional activities.
  • Supports press release coordination, maintains company website, and LinkedIn administrator for company pages.
  • Facilitates accounting and finance support for various activities including month-end verification in the energy trading system, validating data integrity between commercial, accounting, and reporting systems, and reviews invoices for payment.
  • Performs additional responsibilities as requested or assigned.

Qualifications
Associate LNG Commercial Analyst:
0-2 years of experience
LNG Commercial Analyst:
Minimum 3 years of experience
Senior LNG Commercial Analyst:
Minimum 5 years of experience
All Levels:
  • Knowledge of business information research, analytical methods, and statistics.
  • Interpersonal skills to provide high-level customer service and relationship building
    Effective analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills to compile and analyze data and to recommend appropriate course of action.
  • Planning skills to develop plans and forecasts and to manage and coordinate projects.
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, CoPilot and Teams.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills to effectively present information and persuade opinion.

Education:
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration or related field. (Typically, four years of related, progressive work experience would be needed for candidates applying for this position who do not possess a Bachelor's degree.)
