TRUECARE BEHAVIORAL HEALTH SYSTEMS INC. is a Maryland-based behavioral health agency providing Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program (PRP) services to adults. Our mission is to empower individuals with mental health challenges to achieve stability, independence, and improved quality of life through structured, person-centered rehabilitation services.
Position Summary

The PRP Rehabilitation Specialist provides direct psychiatric rehabilitation services to individuals in accordance with Maryland COMAR regulations. This role focuses on skill-building, recovery support, treatment plan implementation, and community integration.
This position is hybrid 4 days on-site and 1 day offsite in Baltimore, Maryland.
Key Responsibilities

  • Provide individual PRP services aligned with approved treatment plans
  • Conduct needs assessments and contribute to individualized rehabilitation plans
  • Deliver skill-building interventions (ADLs, coping skills, social skills, vocational readiness, etc.)
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation per COMAR 10.63 and BHA standards
  • Meet productivity expectations and maintain assigned caseload
  • Participate in team meetings, supervision, and case reviews
  • Coordinate care with OMHC providers, families, and community resources
  • Support clients with crisis prevention and recovery planning
Qualifications

Required:
  • Bachelors degree in Behavioral Health, Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related field
  • Experience working with individuals with mental health diagnoses
  • Strong documentation and time-management skills
  • Knowledge of Maryland PRP regulations preferred
Preferred:
  • CPRP certification
  • LCPC
  • LCSW-C
  • LMSW
  • Experience in a Maryland PRP program
  • Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply
