Job description

INSURANCE SALES REPRESENTATIVE – FEDERAL EMPLOYEE BENEFITS

Territory: Mid-Atlantic Region

We are actively expanding our team and seeking experienced insurance sales professionals to join a high-performing group specializing in supplemental benefits for federal employees. This is an in-person position. This is not a remote position.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Conduct on-site enrollment events at federal employee worksites throughout Maryland, Washington, D.C., Virginia, North Carolina, and Delaware

• Present and enroll employees in Life, Accident & Disability, Cancer, and Heart Attack/Stroke insurance plans

• Travel regularly across the territory — this is a road-based, field sales role

• Work alongside the team members during enrollment events as part of a coordinated deployment model

• Build lasting relationships with facility contacts to support repeat visits

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

• Active Life & Health insurance license in MD, DC, or DE (or ability to obtain quickly)

• Minimum 1–2 years of insurance sales experience — worksite, voluntary benefits, or group enrollment experience strongly preferred

• Comfortable with consistent travel across a multi-state territory as part of a structured weekly schedule

• Team-oriented mindset — you'll work alongside a partner in the field, not independently

• Proven ability to hit production targets in a self-directed environment

• Comfortable presenting to individuals and small groups in a workplace setting

• High integrity, professional presentation, and strong follow-through

• Experience with Aflac, Colonial Life, Combined Insurance, Transamerica, or similar carriers is a major plus

WHAT WE OFFER:

• Competitive commission structure with strong earning potential

• Defined territory with an established book of federal facility contacts

• Structured team deployment model — you won't be out there alone

• Flexible scheduling built around enrollment event calendars

• A leadership team invested in your growth and success

This is a 1099 independent contractor position. Compensation is 100% commission-based. Top performers in our territory consistently earn six figures. Monthly and Annual bonuses, along with 100% company funded incentive trips

If you're a self-motivated insurance professional who thrives in a field sales environment, enjoys travel, and wants a territory with real infrastructure, we want to hear from you.
