WHAT YOU’LL BE DOINGÂ
We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented, and proactive Accounts Receivable (AR) Supervisor to oversee daily AR operations and support the accounting team. This role is responsible for managing billing, cash applications, collections, preliminary notices, and lien releases while ensuring accurate financial records and timely customer payments.Â
The ideal candidate is organized, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and demonstrates strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. This individual should be comfortable working independently, improving processes, and building positive relationships with customers and internal teams while seeking long-term career growth within the company.Â
AÂ HIGHLIGHT OF YOUR DAY TO DAY WILL INCLUDE:Â
Supervise and support the Accounts Receivable team.
Oversee daily billing, invoicing, cash application, and collections activitiesÂ
Monitor customer accounts to ensure timely payments and resolve billing or payment discrepanciesÂ
Process preliminary notices and lien releases in compliance with company policies and legal requirementsÂ
Assist with month-end and year-end AR closing processesÂ
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracyÂ
Maintain strong working relationships with customers, internal departments, and sales teamsÂ
Ensure compliance with accounting procedures, internal controls, and company policiesÂ
Support internal and external audits by preparing and providing requested documentationÂ
Train, mentor, and assign daily workflow tasks to team membersÂ
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FORÂ
Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in Accounts ReceivableÂ
Associate’s degree in accounting or related field preferredÂ
Experience in manufacturing or construction industry environments preferredÂ
Knowledge of construction lien laws, preliminary notices, and lien releases is a plusÂ
Understanding of collections practices and proceduresÂ
Experience with ERP/accounting systemsÂ
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applicationsÂ
Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and multitasking skillsÂ
Ability to work independently and drive process improvementsÂ
