Job description


I. Job Summary

Typical Business Hours 8am-5pm - Monday - Friday.

Will train in the Baton Rouge Office. 

Can work remotely once training is completed.
Manages employees and activities of the Billing function. 
II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
 

  • Manages the planning and direction of Billing activities, including the maintenance of the ledger accounts and financial statements.
  • Prepares and maintains account records and billing data and organizes and schedules all necessary resources required to accomplish activities.
  • Oversees the efficient operation and cost-effectiveness of operating systems and programs.
  • Monitors Billing work processes, procedures and expenses, and establishes programs which drive team performance toward departmental and organizational goals.
  • Provides guidance and leadership to staff accountants.
  • Oversees personnel needs of the department including selecting, coaching, and training employees and evaluating employee performance. Provides input into termination, compensation, and promotion decisions.


III. Qualifications 
A. Required Qualifications 
 

  • Bachelor's Degree (accredited)in Accounting, Business Administration or similar area of study, or in lieu or degree,
  • High School Diploma or GED (accredited) and 4 additional years of relevant experience.
  • 7 years of previous experience (in addition to education requirements).


B. Preferred Qualifications 

  • Experience with managing processes and skilled in all phases of analytics.
  • Working with acquisitions and customer migration.
