Job description

The Microsoft 365 Content & Collaboration Administrator is responsible for supporting and administering the client's Microsoft 365 collaboration and content management environment. This role oversees SharePoint Online governance, Microsoft 365 storage monitoring, Power Platform support, enterprise content management, and collaboration tools administration to ensure secure, efficient, and scalable operations across the organization. This role is on-site in Rockville, MD. 

Responsibilities

  • Administer and support SharePoint Online environments, including governance, permissions, site management, and compliance standards.
  • Monitor Microsoft 365 storage utilization across SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, and related services.
  • Support Microsoft Power Platform solutions, including Power Apps and Power Automate workflows.
  • Maintain enterprise content management processes, including document organization, metadata, retention, and lifecycle management.
  • Administer Microsoft Teams and other collaboration tools within the Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve Microsoft 365 platform, collaboration, and content management issues.
  • Support governance, security, and compliance initiatives related to Microsoft 365 services.
  • Develop reports, documentation, and recommendations for platform optimization and user adoption.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and IT teams to improve collaboration capabilities and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
  • 3+ years of experience administering Microsoft 365 environments.
  • Experience with SharePoint Online administration and governance.
  • Experience supporting Microsoft Teams and Microsoft 365 collaboration tools.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform tools, including Power Apps and Power Automate.
  • Knowledge of enterprise content management principles and best practices.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 security, permissions, and compliance features.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Experience with PowerShell scripting is preferred.
  • Microsoft 365 or related Microsoft certifications are preferred.

Compensation

Salary Range: $110,000 - $120,000 annually (commensurate with experience)
