Charter Steel is Hiring for a Billet Conditioner - $2,000 Hiring Bonus!

1 Position Available at Charter Steel - 1658 Cold Springs Rd. Saukville, WI 53080
Billet Conditioner (Melting Department) | 4:30pm-4:30am | $26.50/hr
  • Rotate through different positions throughout 12-hour shift.
  • Use power tools to remove kerf from billets.
  • Apply ID tags using a welding torch and mark billets with chalk.
  • Place chains and spacer bars between billets
  • Perform quality inspections
  • Operate an overhead crane

  • Schedule: 12 hour shifts on our 5-2-2-5 schedule. You would work 5 nights on, 2 nights off, 2 nights on, 5 nights off; Have every other weekend off!

  • Forklift & Overhead Crane experience is a plus!
