Restoration 1 of Dulles is seeking a motivated and dependable Water & Mold Mitigation Technician to join our growing team serving parts of Fairfax and Loudoun County. This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in delivering fast, high-quality work while helping homeowners and businesses recover from water and mold damage.
Restoration 1 is one of the largest independent restoration companies in the country, built on a simple principle: we work for the customer. We respond quickly, perform quality mitigation and remediation services, and lead with empathy during some of the most stressful moments our clients face. From emergency water extraction to structural drying and mold remediation, our team restores properties with professionalism, urgency, and care.
We are looking for individuals who value craftsmanship, teamwork, and customer service and who want to grow with a company that combines strong standards, strong leadership, and strong opportunity.
Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to water damage emergencies
  • Assess and document damage
  • Perform water extraction and set up drying equipment
  • Remove damaged materials and apply antimicrobial treatments
  • Take moisture readings and job photos
  • Communicate with customers and maintain clean, safe job sites
  • Participate in training and on-call rotation
Requirements
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Detail-oriented and safety-focused
  • Valid drivers license with clean record
  • Able to perform physical labor and lift 50+ lbs
  • Flexible schedule (nights/weekends as needed)
  • Must reside within a 30-minute commute of Dulles, VA
Preferred: IICRC certification, restoration experience, Xcelerate/Encircle/Xactimate knowledge.
