Cold Headed Fastener Header Setup Operator
Elk Grove Village, IL
Our client is hiring a Cold Headed Fastener Header Setup Operator!
Responsibilities of the Cold Headed Fastener Header Setup Operator
  • Monitor the cold heading machines including the setup and proper sequencing of progressions, lubrication and perform record keeping as needed,
  • Select, install and adjust threading die, die cutters, chamfering tools, feed grips, pressure tripping mechanisms, cams, gears and pulleys.
  • Layout or be trained for tooling progressions for up to 6 die, 6 blow cold headers such as Formax headers or other brands.
  • Grind and modify thread roll dies if required and oil and clean the headers as necessary.
  • Familiarity with headers such as Formax FX33's (3/8" with 3 stations), FX32's (3/8" with 2 stations), FX45, FX44, FX53, FX54, FX55 or other brands other than Formax is a plus.
  • Verify dimensions of the workpieces per print specifications.

Requirements of the Cold Headed Fastener Header Setup Operator
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • One or more years of full-time experience with the setting up of cold headed fastener headers is required
  • Experience is preferred

Compensation for the Cold Headed Fastener Header Setup Operator
The targeted annual starting salary for this position ranges from $20.00 per hour to $41.00 per hour depending on experience.
