Job description

SFS Group USA, Inc. - Division Automotive is seeking a Tool and Die Repair to join our team in Medina, OH. This position is ideal for an ambitious individual who will thrive in a fast-paced, manufacturing environment while working in collaboration with our professional, supportive and passionate team! This is a full-time opportunity Monday thru Friday starting between $22-$28.
Tool and Die Repair Technician Qualifications:
• 1-3 years of experience preferred
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to meet post offer testing requirements including background check, drug screen and the position's physical demand
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively
• Prior experience working with carbide tooling a plus
Tool and Die Repair Technician Primary Responsibilities:
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
• Troubleshoot and complete tool and die repairs as needed to maintain optimum production within the cold forming department
• Collaborate with cold forming machinists and engineers as needed
• Set up and operate manual lathes, Bridgeport kneemills, turning, grinding and honing equipment
• Perform finishing operations such as microblasting, lapping, drilling and polishing
• Use metric system for all measurements
• Read micrometers, calipers and gauging pins to .005
