Join our fabrication floor

Help us deliver accurate, repeatable sheet metal parts across prototypes, small batches, and production runs.

Role highlights
  • Set up and run a shear, manual press brake, and CNC press brake to produce parts to spec.
  • Complete machine setup: program retrieval, tooling selection/changeover, and verification.
  • Create and edit CNC press brake programs for light-gauge panels and enclosures with simple and complex bends.
  • Execute multiple setups per shift; balance short-run agility with long-run efficiency.
  • Drive throughput: produce the maximum number of parts in minimum time without compromising quality.
  • Interpret shop floor drawings, layouts, blueprints, job folders, rough sketches, and customer samples.
  • Inspect accuracy using precision measuring tools (such as calipers) against prints.
Daily responsibilities
  • Perform basic maintenance and keep the work area clean.
  • Collaborate with maintenance/repair technicians to diagnose issues.
  • Read material tags and work orders; select correct materials.
  • Move materials and parts using a pallet jack or forklift.
  • Track counts and record production activity each day.
  • Work effectively with engineering personnel and fellow machine operators.
  • Maintain safety standards and a tidy environment in a fast-paced shop.
Physical and schedule details
  • Capable of standing, walking, sitting, bending, twisting, squatting, reaching, and repetitive hand/finger movements.
  • Comfortable in hot or cold plant temperatures.
  • Lift up to 75 lbs throughout the shift.
  • Shifts available: 1st (7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m.), 2nd (3:30 p.m.–12:00 a.m.), 3rd (11:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m.), Monday–Friday with overtime opportunities.
Must-have background
  • Experience in a sheet metal job shop/contract manufacturer.
  • Knowledge of press brake tooling: selection, changeover, and maintenance.
  • Reliable attendance and sound decision-making.
