JOB DESCRIPTION

Looking for something different than working behind the same coffee counter every day? Join our husband-and-wife-owned mobile coffee business serving festivals, sporting events, hospitals, schools, corporate offices, and community events across Tampa. No two days are the same.Travelin' Tom's Coffee of Downtown Tampa is looking for an energetic, dependable, customer-focused team member to join our growing business as a Mobile Coffee Truck Driver & Barista.


This is not your typical coffee shop job. Our team serves handcrafted beverages at corporate events, schools, apartment communities, sporting events, festivals, and community gatherings. Every day brings a new location, new customers, and a new opportunity to create memorable experiences. As we expand with a second truck, there will be opportunities to grow into leadership roles and take on additional responsitbility.


In addition to hourly pay, team members participate in tip sharing, increasing overall earning potential.


Previous barista experience is a plus but not required. We provide paid training for the right candidate.


REQUIREMENTS
  • Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Comfortable driving and operating a large mobile beverage truck/van
  • Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and evenings based on event schedule
  • Ability to lift 40–50 lbs regularly and work in outdoor Florida weather conditions
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Team-oriented mindset and ability to lead or work alongside other baristas during larger events
