Perky Beans Coffee is coming to Georgetown!

Located just north of Austin, Georgetown is one of the fastest-growing communities in Central Texas and is known for its vibrant small-town charm, historic character, and strong local economy. The city's picturesque downtown-centered around the iconic Williamson County Courthouse-features locally owned shops, restaurants, and year-round community events that make Georgetown a lively and welcoming place to live and work. With beautiful parks, excellent schools, and convenient access to nearby Austin, Georgetown offers an outstanding quality of life along with strong growth and opportunity.

Our newest Perky Beans Coffee shop location will be opening at 2651 E University Ave, Suite 100 in Georgetown, a rapidly developing corridor that serves both local residents and visitors traveling along one of the city's main east–west routes. This location places our team at the center of one of Georgetown's most active and expanding areas, creating an exciting opportunity to serve the community and become a daily gathering place for residents, commuters, and visitors alike.

We're looking for a passionate, people-forward Coffee Shop Manager to bring our signature Perky Beans experience to life in our newest location in Georgetown.

As the leader of this brand-new store, you'll play a hands-on role in opening the shop, building a strong team from the ground up, and leading all hiring, onboarding, and training efforts. This is more than a management role - it's an opportunity to shape culture, develop future leaders, and establish a thriving coffeehouse at the heart of the community.

What You'll Do (But are not limited to):

Leadership & Team Development

  • Serve as a role model, facilitator, trainer, and capable team member in all positions
  • Actively coach, observe, and develop staff to build a high-performing, hospitality-focused team
  • Conduct daily briefings and ongoing performance conversations
  • Perform employee reviews and consistently develop team members' professional and leadership skills
  • Create and maintain a fun, safe, inclusive, and rewarding work environment

Operations & Execution

  • Oversee all aspects of day-to-day operations as a hands-on working manager
  • Assume full responsibility for quality of products served and guest service delivered
  • Monitor quality and execution standards; demonstrate proper techniques when needed
  • Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are consistently met
  • Manage repair and maintenance needs

Staffing & Scheduling

  • Manage and schedule staff
  • Assess team skills through hands-on training techniques
  • Maintain proper staffing levels to support business needs

Inventory & Vendor Management

  • Conduct regular product inventories and evaluate ordering patterns
  • Place vendor orders to ensure timely and accurate deliveries
  • Maintain appropriate stock levels and cost controls

Financial & Business Performance

  • Monitor financial controls and performance reports (sales, labor, costs, etc.)
  • Achieve objectives for sales growth and profitability
  • Identify goals for yourself and your team that contribute to company growth
  • Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement

Marketing & Community Engagement

  • Participate in developing and executing marketing and promotional campaigns
  • Contribute ideas for seasonal menu items and new offerings based on customer preferences
  • Help establish Perky Beans as a strong community presence in Georgetown

Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of coffeehouse management experience required
  • 1–2 years of high-volume drive-thru experience preferred
  • Proven ability to manage and motivate a team
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills is a must
  • Strong customer service focus with a sense of urgency
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule (including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays)
  • Must be able to work in our Leander location until the Georgetown store opens
