  • Starting wage is $20 - $25 dollars per hour, dependent on experience.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

The Gas Pipe Assistant is responsible for the assisting in the code compliant installation of gas systems on Commercial new construction sites.

  • Assist with installation of gas systems using copper, steel, and flexible piping in compliance with codes.
  • Read and interpret blueprints or layout basic designs as needed.
  • Help cut and core openings for piping using hand and power tools.
  • Support testing of systems to ensure leak-free and code-compliant installations.
  • Assist in calculating BTU loads and sizing pipe layouts.
  • Help install piping, fittings, valves, regulators, and gas appliances.

Requirements

  • Valid Driver’s License
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
