As a COBRA Inventory Manager, you'll be a key part of a team that helps ensure members receive timely communications, accurate billing, and seamless account support. This position is full-time (40 hours/week) Monday - Friday. Employees are required to have the flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 7:00am - 5:00pm CST. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime. Our office is located at 115 W. Wausau Ave., Wausau, WI 54401. 

We offer weeks of paid on the job / shadow training. The hours during training will be 7:00am - 5:00pm CST, Monday - Friday. Duration of the training is based on the individual candidate and their needs. More details on the training will be discussed further during the interview process by the hiring manager.  

Primary Responsibilities

  • Manage incoming and outgoing customer communications, including mail, email, fax, and system-generated notices.
  • Process payments, account transactions, and electronic files to support accurate and timely COBRA administration.
  • Prepare, scan, index, and maintain documents to ensure records are organized and accessible.
  • Monitor shared inboxes and communication channels, ensuring inquiries are routed and addressed promptly.
  • Support payment reconciliation activities, including cash posting and balancing daily transactions.
  • Maintain spreadsheets, databases, and operational records to support reporting, audits, and process improvements.
  • Collaborate with team members across departments to ensure a positive customer experience and efficient operations.
  • Help keep the team running smoothly by supporting inventory management and special projects as needed.
  • Utilize internal systems and Microsoft Office applications to manage daily work activities.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma / GED 
  • Must be 18 years of age OR older
  • 1 years of experience in Microsoft Word (creating documents) and Microsoft Excel (creating spreadsheets, sorting, and data entry)
  • 1 years of customer service experience analyzing and solving customer problems.
  • Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) Monday - Friday. Employees are required to have the flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 7:00am - 5:00pm CST. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime. Our office is located at 115 W. Wausau Ave., Wausau, WI 54401. 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • COBRA experience
  • Experience within the Healthcare industry
  • Call center experience

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $18 - $32 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
